AutoScan 16/P and P9 intelligent, high-performance controllers for VMEbussystems provide 16 serial I/O ports, one parallel port, a 24 MHzmicroprocessor, and 64 KB of high-performance RAM, with an additional 8KB of ROM. Each port is independent and software programmable. Self-test firmware is supplied with each controller.UNIX System V drivers as well as Streams drivers are available. UNIXline discipline firmware is downloadable into the onboard RAM.AutoScan16/P and 16/P9 support performance rates of 19,200K baud at 100percent loading. Their 6U and 9U VMEbus form factor was designed to meetall VMEbus specifications and compliance standards. Evaluation units arealso available.
